How to cook hake with lemon quickly and tasty: the fish will be juicy
Hake is one of the most budget-friendly, but at the same time very tasty and healthy fish. It can be cooked in different ways: fried, baked in the oven, cooked with vegetables and sauce.
Cook Kateryna shared a recipe for a delicious hake with lemon-garlic sauce and pea puree on Instagram.
Ingredients:
- hake or any white fish 500 gr;
- lemons - 2-3 pcs.
- butter - 70 g
- garlic 3-4 cloves.
- salt to taste;
- sprigs of rosemary - 2 pcs.
Method of preparation:
1. Put lemon slices in a baking dish, put the fish on them, season with salt and pour butter. Bake for 20 minutes at 180 C.
2. For the lemon-garlic butter: melt the butter, add a little salt, lemon juice and finely chopped garlic.
3. Puree the peas: pour water into the pot with the peas so that it slightly covers them. Boil the peas for about 7 minutes, season with salt and pepper, and add a little dried mint. Add the cream to the peas, mix well and beat the peas with a blender.
Put the cooked fish on a dish and serve with mashed peas!
