How to cook fish deliciously without frying and baking: we share a simple recipe

Fish is a must-have product that should be in everyone's diet, at least 2-3 times a week. Fish can be cooked in different ways: baked, fried, salted, marinated, stewed with vegetables and various sauces.

Cook Roksolana (roksolana.harasymiv) shared a recipe for delicious stewed fish with tomato sauce and vegetables on Instagram.

Ingredients:

  • Pike perch fillet - 4 pcs.
  • Pepper - 1 pc.
  • Carrots - 1 pc.
  • Onion - 1 pc.
  • Tomato paste - 200 g (or blend tomatoes with a blender)
  • Flour - 1-2 tbsp.
  • Ghee - 1 tbsp.
  • Suneli hops, pepper - to taste

Method of preparation:

1. Cut the peppers and onions into strips.

2. Grate the carrots on a coarse grater.

3. Cut the pike perch into pieces.

4. If you don't have tomato paste, just blend the tomatoes in a blender to make a paste/sauce.

5. Pepper the fish pieces, add spices and roll in flour.

6. Fry the onion in a frying pan, add the carrots and pepper, sauté well until tender and sauté a little more with the tomato sauce.

7. Put the fish in a frying pan, put the stewed vegetables on top and simmer the fish for 35 minutes in the oven at 180°C.
