How to bake delicious lard with spices: the easiest recipe from the culinary expert

A product that almost every Ukrainian loves is lard. It is most often eaten raw, but also added to minced meat for cutlets and baked with spices and garlic.

Cook Serhiy Dzhurenko shared on his website a recipe for delicious baked lard with spices and garlic.

Ingredients:

  • Lard (underbelly) - 1 kg
  • Garlic - 1 head
  • Bay leaf, black and oregano peppercorns, coriander peas, salt - to taste.

Method of preparation:

1. Make incisions in the lard throughout the thickness of the skin to get squares with a sharp knife. Put garlic there.

2. Mix the spices, salt the lard well, grate the remaining garlic and rub it on the lard, leave to marinate for 2-3 hours.

3. Bake the lard in an oven preheated to 210-220 C for 45 minutes.
