Ingredients:
- sugar - 200 g
- eggs - 6 pcs.
- flour - 200 g
- baking powder - 10 g
- milk - 40 g
- oil - 35 g
- dry poppy seeds - 50 g
- zest of 1 lemon
Method of preparation:
1. Beat the eggs with sugar and salt for 15 minutes with a hand mixer. (Make sure the utensils and dishes are dry and clean).
2. Add the sifted flour and baking powder to the eggs. Pour the hot milk and oil. Add the poppy seeds and the lemon zest.
3. Cover the mold with parchment, pour the dough, and cook in the oven for 1 hour at 160 degrees without opening the oven.
4. The sponge cake should be chilled in the mold and refrigerated overnight.
