Homemade fritters can be prepared on kefir, sour cream and even water. In order for them to be puffy, you need to add baking soda, top grade flour and eggs to the dough.

How to properly cook fritters on kefir

Cook Yana shared on Instagram a recipe for delicious, puffy fritters, in the dough for which you need to add only 1 egg.

Pancake recipe

Ingredients:

  • Kefir - 400 ml
  • Egg - 1 pc.
  • Salt - a pinch
  • Sugar - 2 tbsp.
  • Flour - 250-255 g
  • Soda - 1 tsp. without a slide

Method of preparation:

1. Heat the kefir for a minute. Then add the egg, salt and sugar. Sift in the flour and gradually add it, each time beating the dough with a whisk.

2. At the end, add the baking soda, stir and leave for 15 minutes. Do not stir the dough any further.

3. Scoop batter with a spoon and cook in a heated skillet over medium heat. Cover briefly with a lid at the end.
