Homemade bagels are a great alternative to pies. Moreover, they are made with shortcrust pastry with various fillings.
Cook Yulia shared a recipe for delicious, crispy homemade bagels with jam on Instagram.
Ingredients:
- flour - 290 g
- sugar - 50 g
- salt - 0.5 tsp
- vegetable oil (82%) - 100 g
- baking powder - 1 tsp.
- sour cream (20%) - 100 g
- egg - 1 pc.
Method of preparation:
1. Add sugar, salt, and baking powder to the sifted flour. Mix and add cooled butter, grind into crumbs. Add the egg and sour cream and knead the dough. Wrap in cling film and leave in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
2. Divide the dough into 2 parts, roll each one out, cut out triangles, put jam or other filling inside and wrap the bagels.
3. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for only 20 minutes.
Cool the finished bagels and sprinkle with powdered sugar!
