Homemade caramel in 15 minutes from three ingredients: can be stored for a month
Caramel is often the main ingredient in desserts. It is worth noting that it can also be made at home from milk, sugar, cream, and butter.
The cook shared a recipe for delicious caramel on Instagram, made from sugar with cream and butter.
Ingredients:
- 240 g of sugar
- 50 g of cold butter 82/72%
- 200 g of hot cream 30/33%
Method of preparation:
1. Pour the sugar into a wide saucepan with a thick bottom. Turn on medium heat and bring the sugar to complete dissolution, stir the sugar with a silicone spatula as if pressing it to the bottom of the pan, and you will see the color of the sugar change. Bring the sugar to an amber color.
2. Then reduce the heat to low, add the cold butter, and mix well.
3. Add the hot cream and stir gradually. Allow the caramel to boil for a minute on the fire, remove from the heat, and whip with a blender (for perfect texture).
4. Pour into a convenient cold bowl, and cover with cling film until it is in contact. Cool on the surface to room temperature, then refrigerate.
The shelf life of such caramel is more than a month!
