Healthy protein omelet with cottage cheese for breakfast: a recipe from Yevhen Klopotenko
If you like to make an omelet for breakfast, try making it in a new way, for example, without yolks. This will give the dish a completely different flavor.
Culinary expert Yevhen Klopotenko has shared a recipe for a delicious protein and spice omelet on his website that will surprise you.
Ingredients:
- whites – 4 pcs.
- hard mozzarella – 50 g
- spinach – 50 g
- green onions – 2 feathers
- chili pepper – 5 g
- butter – 10 g
- salt, pepper – to taste
Method of preparation:
1. Separate the whites from the yolks and whisk with the addition of pepper and salt.
2. Wash and chop the greens.
3. Cut the chili pepper into slices and grate the cheese on a fine grater.
4. Heat the butter in a frying pan and pour in the beaten egg whites.
Cooking tip: Fry the omelet over medium heat.
5. Top one-half with cheese, chopped herbs, and chili pepper. Cover with the other half of the omelet using a spatula.
6. Reduce the heat to low and cover the pan with a lid, cook for another 2 minutes and remove from the heat.
