Herring is a very healthy and tasty fish that you can marinate yourself, as well as make salads, sandwiches, snacks, and savory forshmak.
The cook shared a recipe for a delicious, healthy forshmak with apple and butter on Instagram.
Ingredients:
- 300 g fillets of w/salted herring
- 2 boiled eggs
- 0.5 onions
- 1 small sour apple
- 70 g of softened butter
- salt, pepper to taste
- 0.5-1 tsp. lemon juice
Method of preparation:
1. Finely chop the herring fillet.
2. Grate the boiled eggs and apple on a fine grater, chop the onion finely.
3. Put all the ingredients in a bowl, add lemon juice, butter, salt and pepper. Mix well and serve with dried dark bread!
