Healthy guacamole: how to prepare this avocado appetizer properly
Avocados are one of the healthiest foods, containing many vitamins and minerals. It is also rich in dietary fiber, ascorbic and folic acid, potassium, and copper. In addition, it contains monounsaturated fatty acids, which have a positive effect on heart function. Avocados can be added to salads, sauces, snacks, and even desserts.
Cook Yana shared a recipe for delicious and very healthy avocado guacamole with tomatoes and red onions on Instagram.
Ingredients:
- avocado - 2 pcs.
- tomato - 1 pc.
- red onion - 1/2 pc.
- chili - 1/2 pc.
- lime juice
- cilantro
- olive oil - 1/2 tbsp
- salt, pepper - to taste
Method of preparation:
1. Cut avocados in halves, remove pits, and spoon out flesh. Transfer to a bowl and mash with a fork until smooth.
2. Finely chop onion, tomatoes, chili and herbs.
3. Add everything to the avocado, drizzle with lime juice, add olive oil and spices, and mix.
