Grated pie in a new way: what to add to dessert for an original taste
The easiest homemade tea treat is a grated cake. To make the dessert unusual, add cottage cheese, not jam, but berries.
Cook Tamara shared a recipe for a flavorful, crispy grated pie with berries and cheese on Instagram.
Ingredients:
- Flour – 220 g
- Sugar – 4 tbsp.
- Baking powder – 1 tsp.
- Butter – 80 g
- Egg - 1 pc.
- Salt – a pinch
The filling:
- Cottage cheese – 400 g
- Cream – 80 g
- Semolina – 2 tbsp.
- Eggs – 1 pc.
Method of preparation:
1. Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and mix well. Add the frozen butter and grind into crumbs. Add the egg and knead the dough.
2. Put some of the dough into the freezer. Put the rest of the dough into the baking dish.
3. Filling: combine cottage cheese, sugar, cream, semolina, egg and mix.
4. Spread the cottage cheese mixture on the base and sprinkle with berries. Grate the frozen dough and sprinkle with berries.
5. Bake the cake into the oven for 35 minutes at 180 C.
