Cottage cheese casserole can be an alternative to any dessert. You need to use high-quality cottage cheese if you want it to be homogeneous and tasty. To make the casserole tall and light, add semolina instead of flour.

Cook Yulia shared on Instagram a recipe for a delicious and fluffy cottage cheese casserole without flour but with citrus zest and semolina, which is an ideal alternative to flour.

Ingredients:

  • cottage cheese - 350 g
  • semolina - 50 g
  • milk - 100 g
  • eggs - 2 pcs.
  • raisins - 50 g
  • sugar - 50 g
  • zest of 1/2 lemon
  • butter or oil

Method of preparation:⠀

1. Add semolina to milk and leave for 10 minutes.

2. Beat cottage cheese, eggs and sugar in a blender. Mix with the soaked semolina and stir. Add zest and raisins and mix well.

3. Pour the finished batter into a mold greased with butter or oil and bake for 35-40 minutes at 190 C.
