Fish cutlets in the oven: the recipe by Yevhen Klopotenko
Cutlets are one of the most delicious and satisfying dishes made from any meat, fish, vegetables, spices, herbs, and mushrooms.
Culinary expert Yevhen Klopotenko has shared a recipe for delicious fish cutlets on his website that you can easily cook at home in 30 minutes.
Ingredients:
- pollock fillet – 500 g
- breadcrumbs – 3 tbsp
- water – 200 ml
- egg yolk – 1 pc.
- onion – 1 pc.
- carrots – 1 pc.
- beets – 1-2 pcs.
- salt, pepper – to taste
For garnish:
- potatoes – 5 pcs.
- hard cheese – 100 g
- turmeric – 1/2 pc.
- sunflower oil – 1 tbsp.
- lemon juice – 1 tsp.
- pepper, salt – to taste
Method of preparation:
1. Defrost the fish and pass through a meat grinder.
2. Dice the onion.
3. Grate the carrots on a coarse grater.
4. Pour the breadcrumbs with cold water and leave for 5-7 minutes to swell.
5. Add the prepared breadcrumbs to the minced meat, season with salt and pepper, and mix well.
6. Add one egg yolk to the minced meat and mix well.
7. Peel the beets, cut them into slices about 3-4 mm thick, and place them on the bottom of the baking sheet.
8. Make small cutlets from the minced meat and place them on the beetroot "pillow".
9. Add 100 ml of water to the mold and cook in the oven for 20 minutes at 180 C.
