Eggplant like mushrooms with garlic for the winter: a recipe for a spicy appetizer
Eggplants for winter can be prepared with mustard, spices, onions, hot peppers, garlic and herbs. You can also sour them, stuff them with carrots and make delicious caviar.
- Eggplants - 2 kg
- Garlic - 10 cloves.
- Water - 2.5 liters
- Dill - bundle
- Sugar - 50 g
- Salt - 4 tbsp.
- Vinegar - 70 ml
- Vegetable oil - 50 ml
Method of preparation:
1. Wash and cut eggplants into large cubes. Chop dill finely and chop garlic or use a press.
2. Pour water into a pot, add salt, sugar and vinegar and mix for the marinade. Bring to a boil and add eggplants. Cook for 7-10 minutes. Add dill and garlic to the pot and bring to a boil.
3. Put the eggplants in the jars and sterilise.
