Easier than pizza: a quick pie with mushrooms and cheese on puff pastry
Homemade pies are the best addition to soups and salads, and pastries with sweet fillings will be a great dessert for tea. You can use any dough for the base, as well as pita bread and ready-made puff pastry. For the filling, you can use any vegetables, minced meat, fish, hard cheese, as well as berries, cottage cheese, poppy seeds, nuts, raisins.

Ingredients:
- puff pastry - 400 g
- mushrooms - 500 g
- onion - 1 pc.
- eggs - 2 pcs.
- cream - 50 ml
- Feta cheese - 70 g
- nutmeg - 0.25 tsp.
- oregano - 1 tsp.
- salt, pepper - to taste
Method of preparation:
1. Peel and cut the mushrooms into slices.
2. Fry the onion in butter, add the mushrooms in 3 batches. Fry until tender. Add salt and pepper at the end.
3. Put the dough into a 22-24 cm mold, trim off the excess. Put the mushrooms inside.
4. Filling: add salt, pepper, nutmeg to the eggs and cream, whisk until smooth and pour the mushrooms with the mixture. Top with slices of cheese and bake until tender.
Leave the cake to cool, slice and serve. It will be delicious both cold and hot.
