One of the most delicious, light, and airy desserts is eclairs. Making them at home is not so easy, as the most important thing is to make a good dough and a delicate cream. This sweet dessert can be eaten even on a diet if prepared differently.

Food blogger Victoria Muliar shared a recipe for perfect diet eclairs with apple filling on Instagram.

Ingredients:

  • water - 1 glass
  • whole wheat flour - 1 cup
  • olive or coconut oil
  • eggs - 3 pcs.
  • salt - a pinch

For the filling:

  • baked apples - 2 pcs.
  • protein - 1 pc.
  • agar agar - 2 tbsp.
  • vanilla sugar - a pinch
  • sweetener - a pinch

Method of preparation:

1. Bring the water almost to a boil, then add the oil, salt, mix, then add the flour and mix quickly.

2. Then add the eggs one by one and mix until smooth.

3. Put the finished dough into a pastry bag, squeeze the required amount onto a baking sheet, forming eclairs, and bake for 30-40 minutes at 180 C. It is very important to know that the oven should not be opened when baking eclairs because they will fall off.

4. Soak the agar in water, heat, and bring to a boil.

5. Blend the baked apples in a blender, add the sweetener and vanilla sugar, then the egg whites, first one half, then the other.

6. Then gradually add the agar agar.

7. Fill the finished eclairs with apple filling through a pastry bag.

8. Melt any kind of chocolate – white, black, or milk chocolate and pour over the finished eclairs.
