Buckwheat is an ideal cereal for making soups, porridge and hearty hrechanyky. It can also be added to salads and even made into delicate puddings.

Cook Andriy shared on Instagram a recipe for original popcorn from buckwheat, which is very simple and quick to prepare.

Ingredients:

  • buckwheat
  • sunflower oil
  • salt
  • water

Method of preparation:

1. Boil buckwheat for about 10-15 minutes. Rinse with cold water, strain off excess water.

2. Transfer to a baking tray, dry at 100-120 degrees with fanning until buckwheat is completely dry.

3. Fry the cooked buckwheat in heated oil at 230 degrees or higher. Place on a paper towel so that there is no excess oil and leave to cool.

It can be used to decorate salads or appetizers!
