Food blogger Anastasiia Solopii shared on Instagram a recipe for a delicious pita bread dessert with cottage cheese, which would be a great breakfast option and a tea treat.
Ingredients:
- rectangular pita bread – 150 g
- eggs – 1 pc.
- cheese – 200 g
- berries – 100 g
- sour cream – 40 g
- sugar – 35 g
- starch – 10 g
- butter – 5 g
Method of preparation:
1. Grind the cottage cheese with the egg white, add sour cream and sugar, and mix well.
2. Fold the pita bread in half and spread with the cheese mixture.
3. Mix the berries with starch and sugar, stir, and put on the cottage cheese.
4. Fold the edges of the pita bread and make a roll.
5. Brush the top of the pita bread with egg yolk and butter, place on a baking sheet, and bake for 20 minutes at 180 C.
