Better than Caesar: a healthy and light salad for every day made from simple ingredients
Light salads are the best option for lunch and dinner. You can make them with vegetables, preferably seasonal ones, greens, and for a more satisfying option, add squid, mussels, shrimp, fish, eggs, and meat. To make salads healthy, don't dress them with mayonnaise, but rather use flavorful oils.
Cook Viktoriia shared a recipe on Instagram for a delicious, light salad made from lettuce leaves, with shrimp and a flavorful sauce.
Ingredients:
- Salad mix
- Shrimp
- Pear
- Orange
- Parmesan cheese
- Garlic
- Spices
Sauce:
- Honey – 1/2 tsp.
- Mustard – 1 tsp.
- Juice of 1/4 lemon
- Olive oil – 40 ml
Method of preparation:
1. Fry the shrimp in oil with garlic and spices.
2. Cut the pear into slices and caramelize.
3. Separate the flesh of the orange from the white films so that the "fillet" remains.
4. Sauce: mix all the ingredients.
5. Put lettuce leaves on a plate, pear, orange, shrimp, grated or sliced Parmesan cheese, and pour the sauce over the top.
