Beet taratuta: how to prepare this tasty and healthy appetizer

One of the most delicious, healthy and easy-to-cook vegetables is beetroot. It can be used to make healthy salads, snacks, soups, and delicious borscht. Beetroot is also added to canned foods to give them a very pleasant aroma and flavor.

Chef Anatolii Dobrovolskyi shared a recipe for a delicious beet appetizer with onions, horseradish, and cucumber on Instagram.

Ingredients:

  • boiled beets - 450 g
  • pickled cucumbers 100-150 g
  • red or white onion - 1 pc.
  • grated white horseradish - 1 tbsp.
  • beetroot sourdough, pickle brine
  • oil - 1 tbsp.

Method of preparation:

1. Boil or bake beets. Peel and cut them into slices.

2. Grate horseradish and dice onion.

4. Cut cucumbers into large cubes.

5. Put the beets, cucumbers, onions, horseradish in a bowl and mix.

6. Put in a jar, add oil, brine and beetroot sourdough and refrigerate for a day.
