Light, hearty, and delicious "Bavarian" salad, based on the fillet, hard cheese, tomatoes, and sour cream sauce. The salad takes no more than 15 minutes to prepare and can be an ideal treat for a festive table or every day.
Cook Valeriia shared a recipe for a delicious Bavarian salad with fillet, hard cheese, and tomatoes on Instagram.
Ingredients:
- Chicken (or turkey) fillet – 300 g
- Hard cheese – 150 g
- Tomatoes – 2 pcs.
- Black bread – 2-3 slices
- Salt/smoked paprika – a pinch
- Sour cream/mustard in grains or just mayonnaise – for dressing
- Garlic – 1 clove.
- Greens – optional
Method of preparation:
1. Cut the fillet into cubes, marinate in salt and smoked paprika, leave for 20 minutes, and fry in a pan until golden brown.
2. Dice the hard cheese and tomatoes.
3. Dice the bread and dry it in a frying pan. If desired, you can grate the finished croutons with garlic.
4. For the sauce: mix sour cream and mustard, season the salad before serving, and sprinkle with herbs.
