Ukrainians praised the Russian actor for his post in Ukrainian, and he cowardly excused himself to the "patriots

The other day, Russian actor Kirill Safonov, known mainly for his roles in TV dramas, unexpectedly wrote a post in Ukrainian for his fans. He congratulated his son with lines from the song "I Want So Much" by Okean Elzy, for which he was praised by Ukrainians.

Users who still follow the "good Russians" took the artist's message as support for Ukraine, while Russian "patriots" pounced on the star with accusations. The comments were left under his Instagram post (scroll to the bottom of the page to see the photo).

"We didn't like your shows for nothing," "Very cool actor. Charismatic, handsome and also supporting the Ukrainian people. Thank you", "What a cool guy you are. Thank you for your support", "Till tears", "At the end of an unformed career in Russia, to get the slightest chance to develop abroad, of course, now you have to "support" Ukraine", - the messages say.

The news of Safonov's post in Ukrainian quickly spread in the propaganda media, and a lot of heckling was poured on the actor, so he rushed to justify himself. The Russian did not write a word in support of Ukraine but boasted of his knowledge of three languages.

"In my life, I speak three languages: Russian, Ukrainian, and Hebrew. If you have a problem with that, you have a problem with that, and you can quietly slam the door goodbye," Safonov wrote.

Recall that the actor's school years were in Lviv, where his family moved from Russia. The actor's mother is a teacher of Russian language and literature and writes poetry and prose. In the 1980s she worked as a director of the Lviv Palace of Pioneers, where young Kirill attended various circles and performed at concerts with recitation of poetry. In the early 1990s, the family returned to the Russian Federation.

Earlier OBOZREVATEL wrote that Russian actor Anatoly Pashinin, star of the TV series "Wuthering Gates", who 2014 left to fight in the Donbas on the side of the Ukrainian army, has not appeared in InfoSpace for almost a year. Read more in our material.
