"I didn't know what I was feeling. But it was weird... It was like my face was melting on itself, " Tiffany shared.

A week after giving birth, the situation became unbearable. Chen decided that it was urgent to go to the doctors after she couldn't eat.
"I tried to eat. I tried to put a forkful of food in my mouth, but everything was falling down. I couldn't eat and then I started stuttering. I lost all facial functions when I got to the hospital," the woman said.
Such paralysis is caused by inflammation and swelling of the facial nerve. The exact cause of Chen's paralysis is unknown, but doctors believe it is related to viral infections.
