Not only "Kyianochka". Garik Krychevsky translated another of his hits into Ukrainian

Garik Krychevsky translated his hit song "My Number 245" into Ukrainian

The famous Ukrainian musician Garik Krychevsky continues to "Ukrainize" his old hits. After the success of "Kyianochka", the chanson took on the hit song "My Number 245". The artist translated only the chorus of the song, which now sounds like "My Train 245," but fans are already demanding the full version.

Krychevsky performed the translated song with his daughter Victoria on her birthday. On February 4, the girl turned 27. It was on the occasion of the holiday that the birthday girl and her star father decided to entertain their fans with an updated version of the well-known chorus. The corresponding video was posted on Instagram.

As a reminder, in the Russian-language version of the song, the chorus reads: "My number is 245, there's a stamp on my shirt, and I used to live in Taganka, I taught barefoot how to steal. My number is 245, but I want to go home again, and I often dream of my soft bed behind the thorns."

Now the "number" has changed to "train," and the prison vibe of the song has become romantic.

"My train is 245. The fields outside the windows are flying. And I count the stars in the sky. And I return at 25. My train is 245. Half the night memories stay awake. Let the trams of Lviv always ring with chords for me," Krychevsky sang with his daughter, who, by the way, joined her father in singing the Ukrainian-language "Kyianochka."

For Internet users, the translated version of the song was another confirmation that language matters. According to the commentators, the song has taken on a completely different color and a new mood.

"How cool", "Absolutely different feelings - language matters, especially Ukrainian", "My respect, I'm listening to it for the tenth time", "Bravo", "All your songs sound better in Ukrainian!" - listeners leave these and many other similar comments.

Earlier, Garik Krychevsky amused his fans with a Ukrainian-language version of his hit song "Kyivlyanochka". As you know, the musician was helped with the "Ukrainization" of the song by a famous poet and his friend Yevhen Rybchynsky. The day before, one of the versions of the updated lyrics was leaked online, which sang: "Oh, Kyiv, you are Kyiv, oh Kyiv! Not a whore from Moscow, not a Polish lady." However, in the final version, the "whore from Moscow" was removed, and instead the artist sang about a "frau from Berlin." Why - read in the article.
