Famous Ukrainian musician Ivan Dorn, who performed for Russians in Bali on New Year's Eve, has announced a concert in Warsaw, Poland, on June 8. Everything would be fine, but he will be accompanied on stage by "good" Russians. We're talking about rapper Noize MC and singer Monetochka.

In addition, they will be joined by Ukrainian singer Luna, the ex-wife of disgraced traitor producer Yurii Bardash. Not so long ago, the singer got into a scandal when she abandoned the Ukrainian language and started singing in Russian again. Dorn shared the concert poster on his InstaStories.

The poster lists the names of the four artists listed above who will perform on the same stage in Warsaw: two Ukrainian and two Russian.

Many may defend both Dorn and this event in general, arguing that Noize MC and Monetochka condemned Putin's regime before the full-scale invasion, and after it, they strongly condemned the war and began to help Ukraine.

In particular, the rapper and the vocalist organized joint charity concerts, the proceeds of which were sent to humanitarian aid to Ukraine. They also expressed their position in new tracks, in which they condemned Russian aggression in one way or another.

Nevertheless, it is important to understand that such concerts, where "good" Russians and Ukrainians with "ambiguous" positions come together on the same stage, bring us back to the unconscious past, where the boundaries between Ukrainian and Russian cultural (and not only) spaces are blurred.

Such events, especially abroad, create a false picture that Ukrainians and Russians are still "brotherly" peoples and "friends," some of whom have allegedly just quarreled. This has a particularly harmful effect on foreign audiences, who may believe the false narrative.

The situation with Luna, who gave a concert in Kyiv in late 2023 with a Russian-language repertoire, is also worth mentioning. Moreover, she performed the song "Palmira," which is called the "unofficial anthem" of the Wagner PMC. A few months later, Luna made a big splash when she said that she would communicate and write songs in Russian because she "feels it."

The artist added that in the future her work will be in Russian, justifying it with standard narratives about "a ban that encourages even more to act against the rules." In addition, the singer hinted that her colleagues switched to Ukrainian just to be liked or to be in the trend.

"I continue to write lyrics and songs in Russian. You know, for people like me, an imaginary ban makes me want to stay honest with myself and my art! I see it that way, I feel that way," the singer said.

Later, Dorn posted a black-and-white photo of himself wearing a sweatshirt with a bear on his page. Under it, Ukrainians began to express their indignation and ask questions about the star's position. The singer has so far left their comments unanswered.
