The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine awarded the "Golden Cross" to lawyer Leonid Maslov. The director of one of the Ukrainian law firms now defends Ukraine at the front in the ranks of the 92nd separate mechanized brigade.

Through the efforts of Maslov the brigade managed to create one of the best aerial reconnaissance teams in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, to the account of which are, in particular, 3 anti-aircraft missile systems Tor, 2 EW systems Zhitel, 1 artillery reconnaissance radar Zoo-1, 2 SAU Msta-S, 1 tank, 1 truck Ural and a significant number of military personnel of the Armed Forces of Russia journalist Yuri Butusov spoke about the award.

"I am proud that my lawyer and long-time friend - Leonid Maslov was awarded a very respected award at the front - the Golden Cross of the Commander-in-Chief of the AFU Valery Zaluzhny. The director of the law firm SMENS Maslov, who has defended me for many years in many trials, became a soldier of the famous 92nd mechanized brigade after the start of the invasion, and created one of the best aerial reconnaissance teams in the AFU," Butusov said.

On the account of the lawyer himself and his fellows a lot of destroyed enemy equipment, weapons and manpower of the enemy army.

"He became the operator of several types of drones, and thanks to his corrections recorded on video, 3 anti-aircraft missile systems Tor, 2 EW Zhitel, 1 artillery reconnaissance radar Zoo-1, 2 SAU Msta-S, 1 tank, 1 truck Ural and a significant number of manpower of the Russian armed forces were destroyed," Butusov noted.

However, this is not the first award of the lawyer-air reconnaissance. According to a publication on the website of the law firm he heads, back in 2016, Maslov was awarded the medal "For Military Service to Ukraine."

Maslov had participated in the ATO in Donbass since 2014, and was a scout in the ranks of the 92nd OMBr.

Leonid Maslov was a participant in the capture by fighters of the 92nd Brigade of Russian cadres in Ukraine Alexander Alexandrov and Yevgeny Yerofeyev near the city of Schastye in the Luhansk region. He also posted videos of the interrogation of the Russians, after which a case was opened against both GRU cadres under a number of articles, including waging aggressive war and terrorism. In May 2016, both prisoners were exchanged for Nadiya Savchenko, although the Russian Federation never recognized them as active servicemen.

As for human rights activities, in addition to Butusov, among those defended by Maslov was musician and SDF officer Andrei Antonenko "Riffmaster," who spent a year and a half behind bars over his suspected involvement in the murder of Belarusian journalist Pavel Sheremet. The investigation failed to prove that Antonenko had any motives for committing the crime and was in any way involved in it.

We would remind you that earlier it became known that the soldier with the call sign "Predator", who was awarded Zaluzhny, was wounded at the front. Earlier, he destroyed the occupants and BMP-2s from a distance of 5 meters and waged a striking close combat with the prevailing enemy forces. Impressive footage of the first-person battle made its way around the net several months ago.

Ruslan Zubarev was wounded near Svatove.

A large splinter struck the 'Predator' from the back on the left side, Zubarev received medical attention. After recovery, the Ukrainian defender intends to return to the front, so he promised the Russian invaders a speedy meeting.
