Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky held a field headquarters meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief in Dnipro in the area of responsibility of the Tavria operational-strategic group on Thursday, July 27. The participants of the meeting discussed the situation on the front, the progress of offensive and defensive actions.

In addition, close attention was paid to the provision of troops with ammunition and the effectiveness of the use of available air defense systems. This was reported by the head of state on his Telegram.

According to him, the reports were presented by of the Commander-in-Chief of the AFU Valery Zaluzhny, commanders of operational directions Oleksandr Tarnavsky and Oleksandr Syrsky, head of the DUI Defense Ministry's Kyrylo Budanov, Deputy Defense Minister Rostyslav Zamlynsky and Commander of Logistics Forces Oleh Hulyak.

Air Force commander Mykola Oleshchuk also reported on the effectiveness of the existing air defense systems and the strengthening of the air shield in view of future revenues.

Zelensky added that comprehensive inspection of the TRC comes to the end. According to its results, eleven regions are under special control.

To remind, Zelensky held a conference call the day before, after which he said that the air defense of our country will be strengthened. Additional systems will be sent where they are now most needed, the head of state assured.

Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny also presented his report. He informed about offensive and defense actions along the entire front line.

- Zelensky introduced bills on the extension of martial law and general mobilization in Ukraine to the Verkhovna Rada. According to the proposal of the head of state, they will last at least 90 more days until November 15, 2023;

- The President also spoke about the potential of the "Drone Army". He stated that good news concerning this kind of weapon will be more frequent.
