In particular, the iPhone SE 4 will be released – a smartphone that promises to combine the power of flagship models with a compact design. Although the company has not yet announced the official release date, numerous rumors and insider information on the web allow us to get a preliminary idea of what to expect from the new product.
The iPhone SE 4 is the next generation of Apple's budget smartphone, which should become even more powerful than previous models. Insiders have revealed additional details.
The preliminary dimensions of the smartphone became known. Thus, the height of the iPhone SE 4 will be 144-145 mm, width – 69-70 mm, and thickness – 7-8 mm. Therefore, the dimensions are likely to be slightly smaller than expected, as it was assumed that the dimensions would be similar to the iPhone 14 (146.7 × 71.5 × 7.8 mm).
However, this data suggests that the smartphone will be larger than the 2022 SE model. The screen diagonal is likely to be 6.06 inches (15.3 cm).
Information is circulating online that the new gadget will be equipped with the same A18 chip used in the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus.
Apple will use a high-performance processor for its most affordable model. Experts assume that this is due to the need to support AI, as the release of a smartphone without AI can lead to a decline in sales in the current trends.
The iPhone SE 4 will have 8 GB of RAM, which is also necessary to support the neural network.
The smartphone is expected to have an improved main camera with a higher resolution and support for new technologies such as night mode and portrait lighting.
There is no information on the price yet, but given that the iPhone SE 4 is positioned as a budget model, the price should be affordable.
Although the exact release date has not yet been announced, it is expected that the iPhone SE 4 could be introduced in the first half of 2024. This corresponds to Apple's usual timing for new product announcements, in particular in March or April.
