Russia To Be Suspended From Olympics 2024: Russian commentator advises athletes to "start relaxing"

Famous Russian commentator Dmitry Guberniev urged his compatriots not to have any illusions regarding the participation of athletes from Russia in the Olympic Games-2024. According to him, the current conditions of admission of representatives of the aggressor country to international competitions give every reason to believe that only some individual athletes will be able to get to Paris.

This opinion was expressed by Guberniev on air on the propaganda TV channel Match TV. He reminded that the International Olympic Committee (IOC) recommended excluding all Russians in team sports, as well as preventing the participation of members of the Russian army and security forces in the competitions.

"The decision to go to the Olympics is not up to us, I have a feeling. How are we going to make the decision to go when people have set such conditions? Team sports don't go at all, what decision should come from us? I still want to say that with all the Titanic efforts, we're not going anywhere. We weren't even called there, I'll put it this way. How can we make decisions when CSKA and Rosgvardia are not going? That's 95% of the national team. Well, some Klishina and some tennis players are going. It's not even the national team, but some athletes. We will not be there, I repeat. We can gradually start to relax," said Gouberniev.

On the eve of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) once again accused international federations of politicization of sports and discrimination on the national principle, and stated the alleged mass support for the return of athletes from Russia to the Olympics.

As reported by OBOZREVATEL, the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine issued an order to boycott the competition, where athletes from Russia and Belarus will participate.
