"Goatish rudeness!" Russian sambo team lashes out at "cheeky Westerners" over suspension from 2024 Olympics

President of the Center for Sports and Education "Sambo-70" Renat Layshev joined the patriotic frenzy and supported the refusal of Russian propaganda TV channels to broadcast the 2024 Olympic Games. The accomplice of the dictatorial regime of Vladimir Putin repeated the traditional clichés that representatives of the aggressor country are treated badly in the West, forgetting to name the reasons for this.

Laishev said this in a commentary to the Sport24 portal. The head of the Moscow Sambo Federation spoke about Europeans with traditional Russian disdain and rudeness, and also called the Olympics in the French capital, where athletes from Russia were not allowed to participate with the flag and anthem, "global unculture."

"This is the right decision. If Paris doesn't think we can attend a general celebration of sport, then we don't need them either! We need to organize our own Games in parallel, where coaches and athletes of the right age could realize themselves. This Summer Olympics is a complete and global lack of culture! We once believed them, and they have remained as arrogant as ever. The way the West treats us is goatish rudeness!" Laishev was outraged.
