There are no restrictions on military assistance to Ukraine

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that there are currently no restrictions on military assistance to Ukraine. They exist only in humanitarian issues.

The Ukrainian leader said this at a press conference with Moldovan President Maia Sandu on January 25. He added that military assistance is now an important priority for him.

"I know there are some restrictions, we need to look at it in detail. I can only say what Ukraine may not receive. I am focused on military aid, it is not stopped," the guarantor emphasized.

To recap, Moldovan President Maia Sandu arrived in Kyiv on Volodymyr Zelenskyy's birthday, January 25. According to her, she came to Ukraine at the invitation of the President. She is also demonstrating solidarity with Ukraine with her visit.

As reported by OBOZ.UA, the new US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has issued an order that instructs the US to suspend spending on most existing foreign aid grants for 90 days. The State Department has not officially released the order, and several publications have already noted that military aid to Ukraine will be the first to be cut off. However, the Pentagon denies that aid to Ukraine will be cut off.
