"Our message today is clear": U.S. Secretary of Transportation arrives in Kyiv on a visit. Photo
On November 8, Pete Buttigieg, the United States Secretary of Transportation, visited Ukraine. He arrived in Kyiv by train.
The visit of the distinguished guest was announced on Twitter by the American Ambassador to Ukraine, Bridget Brink. She met Buttigieff at the train station.
"Our message today is clear: TheUnited States stands with Ukraine and the Ukrainian people," the ambassador wrote.
Buttijic, for his part, noted that since the start of the full-scale Russian invasion, he has been in close contact with the Ukrainian government on global supply chain issues, especially port and rail infrastructure.
