Kuleba: "peace" initiatives that offered Ukraine to give up territories have disappeared from the information field
Over the past six months, the number of states that are ready to be involved in negotiations on President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's Peace Formula to end the war started by Russia has increased. Over the same period, the so-called "peace" initiatives that offered our country to cede its territories to Moscow have disappeared from the information field.
The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dmytro Kuleba wrote about this on his Instagram page on Sunday, October 29. The minister summarized the results of the second day of the peace summit held in Malta.
The head of the department noted that the third summit was attended by 66 states. While the first one, held in June in Copenhagen, brought together 15 countries, and the second one in Jeddah - 42.
Kuleba emphasized that the central topic in any negotiations to end the war in Ukraine is now only the Ukrainian Formula for Peace. It is in line with the key resolutions of the General Assembly and the principles of the UN Charter.
The foreign minister added that the Malta summit had dispelled the fiction that attention to Ukraine had diminished amid the events in the Middle East. In addition, the myth that Kyiv has lost the support of the so-called "Global South" has been debunked.
Kuleba added that Ukraine continues to work on the implementation of the Peace Formula, as well as preparations for the Global Peace Summit, where world leaders will record the agreements and move on to their implementation.
The third meeting of national security advisors and foreign policy advisors on the implementation of the Ukrainian Peace Formula took place in Malta . During the summit, the participants focused on five key points. All details of the meeting are available here.
As OBOZ.UA previously reported, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the participants of the meeting dedicated to the Ukrainian Peace Formula, which started on October 28 in Malta. He said that the Formula is gradually becoming global, and events in Ukraine, the Middle East and Africa show that the UN Charter does not work.
