The European voice is quite important for the Ukrainian leader.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy hopes that Ukraine, America, Europe, and Russia will take part in the peace talks. For the Ukrainian leader, the European voice is quite important.

He said this at a press conference with Moldovan President Maia Sandu on January 25. In particular, the guarantor is convinced that Ukraine will become a member of the European Union.

"I really hope that there will be Ukraine, America, Europe and Russia. I would very much like the European voice to be there as well, it is important for us because we will be members of the EU, but I cannot say clearly today what the structure of the negotiation process will be," Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.

He added that there is currently no common plan in this negotiation process.

As reported by OBOZ.UA, the President explained why a decree prohibiting negotiations with the leadership of the aggressor country Russia was adopted at the beginning of the full-scale invasion. According to him, this document helped to block all communication channels that the Kremlin was trying to establish through various politicians. Zelenskyy emphasized that this decision has yielded results, and that is why the decree is of such concern to dictator Vladimir Putin.
