"This will not happen again." Joshua talks about Usyk and Fury's slur

Joshua assessed his career

British heavyweight Anthony Joshua (26-3, 23 KOs) expressed confidence that he will not be able to fulfill his dream of becoming an absolute world champion. According to the Watford native, the confrontation between Oleksandr Usik (21-0, 14 KOs) and Tyson Fury (34-0-1, 24 KOs), as well as his age, will prevent him from doing so.

Joshua said this in an interview with TNT Sports, according to The Sun tabloid. The former two-time world champion, who lost his belts to Usik, noted that he simply will not be able to fight for the unification of all the belts until the end of his career, so he does not believe in repeating his past successes.

"I used to combine belts, but that won't happen anymore. I think it has to do with reality. Usik and Fury will fight for the title of absolute world champion. And as soon as they determine it, the belts will be separated again. I feel that it will probably take me about five or six years to get all the belts and defeat all the independent champions. And that will probably take me until I'm 40 or 41. So I just think it's probably not in my time frame," Joshua said.

As a reminder, on December 23, the British boxer will fight against Swede Otto Wallin (26-1-0-1, 14 KOs). After that, Anthony is scheduled to fight American Deontay Wilder (43-2-1, 42 KOs) in March.

In turn, Usik and Fury will fight on February 17 in Saudi Arabia. Joshua frankly answered the question of who he would support in this confrontation.

As reported by OBOZ.UA, bookmakers have abruptly changed their quotes for the Usyk-Fury fight. In his turn, Oleksandr told what he would do after defeating Tyson, who recorded a video message to the Ukrainian with a promise to knock him out by the end of the fourth round.
