"Please beat Usyk": Joshua's promoter addressed Fury

Oleksandr ChekanovNews
Hearn made an appeal to Fury

Promoter Eddie Hearn has wished Tyson Fury (34-0-1, 24 KOs) a victory over Oleksandr Usyk (21-0, 14 KOs) in a fight for the world heavyweight title. The success of the Gypsy King, as the Manchester native is called, will allow Hearn's client Anthony Joshua (28-3, 25 KOs) to fight his compatriot.

Hearn made the announcement immediately after Joshua's victory over Francis Ngannou (0-2, 2 KOs), talkSport reports. The British promoter, impressed by his boxer's brutal knockout, immediately declared him the strongest in the world, forgetting that the Cameroonian represents mixed martial arts.

"In the form that Joshua is in now, there is no one better than him in the heavyweight division. Tyson Fury, please beat Usyk, because then you will have the biggest fight in the history of sports. Joshua is unbeatable. It was one of the most devastating knockouts I've ever seen. What I said happened: he destroyed Ngannou, he's a savage, a beast, I can't wait to see him beat Tyson Fury," Hearn said.

Fury himself is simply amazed at how Joshua knocked Ngannou out. The fight broadcast included Tyson's reaction to Anthony's punch. In addition, a video of Francis' fall from all angles was published.

As a reminder, Usyk and Fury will fight on May 18, after the fight in February had to be postponed due to the British fighter's cut. Afterward, Tyson spoke frankly about his injury. In addition, the Croatian heavyweight Agron Smakic (20-2, 18 KOs), who delivered the fatal blow, presented his version of the incident.

Derek Chisora (34-14, 23 KOs), the former rival of the two boxers, gave his categorical forecast for the fight. In addition, the legendary Vitaliy Klychko gave original advice to the Gypsy King.

At the same time, the Ukrainian's team has already decided on a boxer who will replace Tyson if he refuses to enter the ring again. If the Briton does so, he will also face a multi-million dollar fine.

As OBOZ.UA previously reported, Tyson Fury's father John sharply attacked Oleksandr Usyk's team representatives after they questioned the British boxer's injury.
