Hearn spoke about the fight between Usyk and Fury

British promoter Eddie Hearn again wished Tyson Fury (34-0-1, 24 KOs) a victory over Oleksandr Usyk (21-0, 14 KOs). The representative of Anthony Joshua (28-3, 25 KOs) said he was interested in the success of the Gypsy King, as it would open the door to a face-to-face confrontation between the two boxers from England.

Hearn said this in an interview with the Boxing News YouTube channel. The chairman of the Matchroom Boxing promotional company called the fight between Fury and Joshua the most ambitious in boxing history. At the same time, Anthony is to fight for the International Boxing Federation (IBF) belt, which will be taken away from the winner of the Tyson-Oleksandr confrontation.

"Anthony Joshua vs. Fury is on the line! The biggest fight in the history of boxing. That's why I'll be rooting for Fury. Of course, I love Usyk, I respect him a lot. But I want to see Joshua fight Fury. For that, Tyson has to beat Usyk. Anthony can fight Filip Hrgovic in the summer, and then fight Fury for the title of absolute world champion," Hearn said.

The week before last, the broadcaster of the Usyk-Fury fight in Ukraine was announced and the cost of the show was determined. Former world champion Andy Ruiz (35-2, 22 KOs) made his prediction for the fight. Jordan Thompson (15-1, 12 KOs), the sparring partner of the two rivals, also shared his expectations for the duel.

Before that, Fury spoke frankly about Usyk, calling him a terrible person. The British boxer also spoke about being bullied in his younger years, when he was offered to quit the sport. In addition, he announced the fantastic fees of the opponents for the May 18 fight.

It has become known that the second rematch of the boxers is scheduled for mid-October. Tyson himself has already confirmed that he has no intention of giving up fight №2 against the Ukrainian.

Former two-time world champion Anthony Joshua (28-3, 25 KOs) has again predicted a fight between Usyk and Fury. In addition, Tony Bellew, a former rival of the Ukrainian, praised the fight.
