Hrynkevych's son, accused of fake purchases for AFU, shows off Louis Vuitton sneakers worth about 1,000 euros

Roman Hrynkevych, a person involved in a corruption scandal, appeared in Kyiv's Pechersk District Court wearing Louis Vuitton sneakers that cost almost 1,000 euros. Wearing the branded shoes, he listened to his pre-trial restraint - detention until March 17 - and talked to journalists.

It was impossible to hide from the prying eyes of netizens that the director of the charity wears items from a luxury fashion house. By the way, this particular brand has repeatedly been involved in pro-Russian scandals since the start of the full-scale war.

The defendant was wearing black sneakers with a recognizable logo, the price of which is 870 euros (almost 36 thousand hryvnias) on the website. It is worth adding that another screenshot with the aforementioned shoes is also circulating online, where its price reaches 1600 dollars (60 thousand hryvnias).

On the American website, the price of the same sneakers is 1100 dollars (more than 41 thousand hryvnias), while on the British website they can be found for the cheapest price, 815 euros. Prices are as of January 23.

As a reminder, Hrynkevych was detained in Odesa on January 22 in the morning, where he was allegedly hiding from law enforcement. The defendant stated that he did not know that he was wanted because his phones had been seized.

As for the Louis Vuitton brand, it has repeatedly been the subject of loud controversy due to its clumsy advertising campaign, where it used the symbols "V" and "Z". The brand itself did not confirm the allegations.

Later, however, an equally strange advertisement appeared on its page, featuring the letter "V" again, red, white, and blue color. It would seem that this is just the French tricolor and one of the main letters in the company's name, but Russians saw a completely different meaning in this, and the company did not contradict them.
