Roman Hrynkevych is a Ukrainian businessman. According to the media, he is suspected of involvement in corruption.
Roman Hrynkevych is the director and founder of Construction Alliance Montazhproekt LLC. This company planned to build the Citizens' Security Center in Lviv region under a tender for 33 million hryvnias. The media found out that the cost of a number of construction materials was one and a half times higher than the market prices.
Earlier, Roman Hrynkevich's company also performed works ordered by the Department of Regional Development of Zhytomyr Regional State Administration, winning a tender for almost UAH 115 million for "reconstruction with completion of 12 classrooms and reconstruction of the existing block of the school in the village of Chernitsa, Stryi district, Lviv region".
Roman's father Igor is suspected in a corrupt deal with the supply of clothes for the Ukrainian military. At the end of December 2023, he was detained at the attempt to give a bribe of 500 thousand dollars to one of the heads of the Main Investigation Department of the GBI.
Roman's sister Olga Shved in 2023 also got into a scandal because of the publication of stories in Instagram, where the girl boasted a photo in a golden VIP-car of one of the trains "Ukrzaliznytsia". Subsequently, the news, which spread in the media, was tried to be removed for money.
Roman's girlfriend was an artist Sonya Moroziuk, on whose promotion, as the media suspect, the businessman spent illegally obtained funds. The girl, however, denies everything.
January 17, 2024, after Grinkevichy were informed of the suspicion, on which they face 12 years in prison, Moroziuk announced the termination of relations with Roman.
Subsequently, the father was detained, while Roman could not be found and was put on a wanted list.
On January 22, Roman was still detained. He was in Odessa, where he tried to organize an illegal border crossing.
