Not all healthy foods are actually healthy. Along with positive qualities, there are often a number of negative ones. But we usually don't even know about them.
Nutritionist Ilona Pashtepa (ilona_pashtepa) talked about the dangers of two seemingly healthy foods on her Instagram page. The expert spoke specifically about honey and juices.
Honey
It contains 80% fructose and 20% glucose. Fructose is not the healthiest thing we can choose, especially for our liver. If you put sugar and honey on the scale, it's better to choose sugar.
Juices
Yes, it's not just Coca-Cola that's bad for you. Juices contain a lot of sugar and lack the most useful component of fruit - fiber.
These drinks are also high in calories. Instead of 0.5 juice, you can eat a rather satisfying dessert. So if you regularly give your child fruit juices in the hope that they will drink a lot of vitamins, this is not the case at all.
