Better than Olivier: a recipe for an elementary holiday salad for the New Year

For the New Year, you always want a variety of salads with mayonnaise. And if you're already tired of the traditional Olivier, the following chicken and corn salad is a great option. The ingredients for this dish are as simple and budget-friendly as possible – it will be very satisfying.

The idea of making a mayonnaise salad with chicken and corn for the New Year was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Victoria with the nickname viktoria__cooking. The dish looks very attractive.

Ingredients:

• 250 g of balyk/ham/cooked sausage
• 200 g of hard cheese
• 3 boiled eggs
• 1 can of corn
• 1 jar of pickled mushrooms
• mayonnaise – to taste

Method of preparation:

1. Put a ring on a plate and put the cooked sausage, cut into strips, on the first layer.

2. Smooth well and spread with mayonnaise.

3. Put the second layer of hard cheese cut into strips, the third – boiled eggs, and the fourth – pickled mushrooms.

4. Level each layer well.

5. Lubricate with mayonnaise.

6. Spread the corn in the last layer and smooth it well.

7. Garnish the salad with parsley at the end.
