First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska met with Britain's Queen Consort Camilla to thank her for her steadfast and consistent support of Ukrainians in the war against the Russian occupiers. The ruler was waiting for the wife of President Volodymyr Zelenskyi on the doorstep and kissed her on both cheeks.

The warm meeting later moved to a luxurious hall, where the Ukrainian woman had the opportunity to personally thank the royal family for everything they do for the indomitable people of a free country. Photos and videos were posted on Olena Zelenska's social media.

The First Lady visited the Queen as part of a working trip to the United Kingdom, where she visited the headquarters of Amazon Web Services, which provides gadgets for Ukrainian children's education.

"I thanked the royal family and the entire United Kingdom for their consistent support of Ukraine, for sheltering 200,000 Ukrainian refugees and regular meetings with them (the King and Queen have visited the Ukrainian Center in London more than once)," the statement reads.

Olena Zelenska emphasized the common values of Ukrainians and the British: life, freedom, and democracy.
