"This is a holiday about victory". Ukrainian stars showed their Easter looks: most in embroidered shirts

Ukrainian stars showed their looks for Easter

Ukrainian celebrities have already flaunted their looks for Easter, which fell on May 5 this year, after President Volodymyr Zelensky's traditional holiday greetings. Most of them chose to wear embroidered shirts, as advised by stylist Andre Tan, and none of them forgot to show off their Easter basket and Easter cake.

Some posted a laconic greeting "Christ is risen" on social networks, while others decided to be more creative and made a whole speech. OBOZ.UA has compiled a selection of images of Ukrainian stars dedicated to this bright holiday.

Alexey Gnatkovsky

"I am sure that many people have already washed their windows by now. Many people have fasted, not eaten sausage, not drunk vodka. It's really cool, these are very good things. But, as for me, this holiday is not about sausage or even Easter cake. This holiday is about victory, the victory of life over death. The greatest value in our universe is life. And today we celebrate it. It is such a turbulent time. I am sure that just as all Christians wait for this holiday all year round, all Ukrainians are waiting for our Easter, our victory, our life," the actor said.

Yuriy Horbunov and Kateryna Osadcha

The couple decided to choose a family look for themselves and their children. Each of the family members wore blue jeans and a white shirt embroidered with black threads.

Hryhoriy and Khrystyna Reshetnyk

The Reshetnik family also wore embroidered shirts, but the TV presenter himself decided to come to the blessing of Easter cakes in a white classic shirt.

Lilia Rebryk

The TV star noted that this year, instead of a family of four, a family of five went to church for Easter.

Zlata Ognevich

"May Easter bring light, joy and comfort to every home. May every Ukrainian family gather at the family table in peaceful Ukraine," the singer captioned her photo collection from a small Easter photo shoot.

Sofia Shamiya

Miss Ukraine succinctly congratulated Ukrainians on the holiday and appeared in a patriotic image in the photo.

Andriy Bednyakov

The TV presenter celebrated Easter in the mountains in the village of Verkhovyna. He posted a video of the consecration procession, and at the time he was dressed in ordinary everyday clothes.

Monatik

"Christ is Risen. Happy Easter. May hope and faith in a bright future live in your soul," Dmytro Monatik captioned his family photo.

Natalka Denysenko

This year, the actress was able to celebrate Easter with her family. "I was lucky to be with my family today. It's a pity that it wasn't in full... I wish us all true love that shines from within, that doesn't need anything in return, that knows how to forgive, and that gives us the strength to live in joy," she wrote.

Maria Burmaka

The singer visited the St. Nicholas Church on Tatarka in Kyiv and shared her photos on Facebook.

Maksym Uzol and Olya Manko

A pair of travel bloggers celebrated Easter in Lviv, and went to the Easter service in an embroidered shirt and white shirt.

Daria Yevtukh

The blogger and her husband recorded a video showing their Easter basket, and she wears a shirt rich in embroidery.

Yevhen Klopotenko

Yevhen Klopotenko, as usual, put on an authentic holiday look and showed his creation - Easter cake.

Yulia Bakumenko

Vitaliy Kozlovsky's wife also dedicated her Easter basket, though alone, without her husband.
