Yuri Gorbunov is a Ukrainian actor and broadcaster. Honored Artist of Ukraine.

Short biography

Yurii Gorbunov was born on August 24, 1970 in Novyi Rozdil, Lviv region, but grew up in Ivano-Frankivsk region.

He studied at secondary school No.17 in Ivano-Frankivsk city and graduated from it in 1987.

In 1992 he graduated from Kyiv Karpenko-Kary Institute of Theatrical Art.

Worked in the drama theater in Ivano-Frankivsk.

In 1997 he moved to Kyiv, where he worked as assistant director at Art Veles center, director of Hollywood club, and host of Three Craps program at UT-1.

He first began working on live TV in 1999 in the program "Shchasliviy Dzvynok".

In 2000 he began collaborating with the Novy Channel, where he hosted the morning show Pidjom together with Masha Efrosinina. He also hosted the family show "Ready for Anything", the show "One for All", and "Now You're in the Army".

In 2005 he was the host of the programme "Pitanny for the champions" on STB channel.

In June 2006 he became the presenter of the TV channel "1+1" where together with Marichka Padalko hosted a morning entertaining program "Snidanok".

On "1+1" he was the host of the shows "Dance with the Stars", "Smakuemo", "Zirka+Zirka" and "Superzirka" and others.

In December 2015, he received the title of Honored Artist of Ukraine.

Film

Gorbunov is also known for his work in films and television series. In particular, he is known for his participation in the TV series "Ostaniy Moskal", "Velikiy Vuyki" and three parts of the film "Skazhenny Vesellya".

Personal life

Gorbunov was married to Lyudmila, a former ballet actress of the Ivano-Frankivsk theater, who was 10 years older than him.

At the age of 41, he became a grandfather when his daughter Ksenia gave birth to a girl, Polina.

Since February 2017, he has been married to TV host Katerina Osadcha. The couple has two common children: sons Ivan (born in 2017) and Daniel (born in 2021).
