Tina Turner's song lost 40 years ago will be released after her death
A song by the famous singer Tina Turner, lost 40 years ago, will be released after her death. The song Hot For You, Baby will be aired on BBC Radio 2.
The track was originally going to be included in the singer's album, but later it was decided to give preference to such a hit as Better Be Good To Me. The song, which was thought to be lost, was recently discovered when Turner's label prepared a reissue of Private Dancer, reports the BBC.
Hot For You, Baby is a dynamic rock song produced by John Grant. It has already been recorded by Scottish-Australian singer John Paul Young, but the composition did not gain popularity.
"Hearing something new from Tina Turner is a treat for fans of all generations and a reminder of her unique talent," said Radio 2 show host Mark Goodier, "I was lucky enough to interview Tina and see her perform live. She was an incredibly beautiful performer and at the same time a remarkably graceful woman."
The track is expected to be included in the reissue of Private Dancer, which is scheduled for release in March. The collection will include remixes and performances, as well as Turner's concert at the NEC Arena in Birmingham in March 1985, which featured David Bowie and Bryan Adams.
There is a lot associated with the album Private Dancer. The singer recorded all but one song in the UK with five different British production groups. The American writer Stephen Golden described this album as "a significant milestone not only in the career of the 45-year-old singer but also in the evolution of pop-soul music as such." The album has sold over 10 million copies. It has won three Grammy Awards.
