Sharon Stone has candidly revealed how she lost movie roles due to memory problems after suffering a stroke
The world-famous Hollywood actress Sharon Stone has frankly revealed that she suffered a massive stroke that caused serious memory problems. As a result, the Basic Instinct star lost her movie roles because she simply could not memorize the script.
The actress had a nine-day brain hemorrhage. Her memories of that period of her life were quoted in the Daily Mail.
"In 2001, I had a nine-day cerebral hemorrhage and a massive, very debilitating stroke... It took me years to recover, it didn't happen overnight," Stone said.
After a stroke, the celebrity began to lose her memory. She kept forgetting her lines and couldn't learn new lines. Because of this, Hollywood directors, as Stone herself said, "threw her to the back of the line" of actors. The star was not offered roles and was denied already agreed projects. This hurt and made her feel uncomfortable, as she felt abandoned by her "cinematic family."
"Once you're at the back of the line, getting back to the front of the line doesn't depend on whether you've made a lot of blockbusters and whether you've made billions of dollars for your industry. You are not that important anymore. I don't know if it's right to say that I was abandoned. But I felt like I had lost my cinematic family," Stone honestly admitted.
We would like to remind you that Sharon Stone recently announced that doctors had discovered a large fibrous tumor. Initially, doctors misdiagnosed the star and prescribed the wrong treatment, which made the actress experience even more pain.
As OBOZREVATEL previously wrote, Sharon Stone first revealed that she had lost nine children to miscarriages. The actress decided to make this revelation after the wife of Ukrainian choreographer Maks Chmerkovskiy told about her tragedy.
