Bezsmertnyi praises the level of Trump's inauguration ceremony

On January 20, most of the traditions of the inauguration of the US presidents were broken by the team of the newly elected president and Donald Trump himself. The directors tried their best to hide this during the broadcast of the event, but many details still got into the camera lenses.

Roman Bezsmertnyi, a Ukrainian diplomat, candidate of political sciences, and one of the authors of the Constitution of Ukraine, told OBOZ.UA about this. He noted that breaking traditions can generally be called the usual behavior of the newly elected US president.

"Trump has always been known for breaking all the established forms, established requirements, and rules. Regarding the inauguration in the United States, the rules are unspoken, and more traditional than those written in the protocols. But they exist and there have been only a few exceptions. But Trump broke all these established forms the first time he became president," the diplomat said.

It showed even in his clothes. According to Bezsmertnyi, "Trump realized that he could get cold, and his age is too old to do so."

A separate issue is the guests invited to the inauguration. According to the Ukrainian diplomat, this "hodgepodge of guests" is not due to compliance with protocol, but because "whoever they wanted was invited."

"I have organized such large-scale events in Ukraine before. I can say that for America, this inauguration is not even a three on a five-point scale. It's closer to a two. It's such a gray event," Bezsmertnyi said.

According to him, the entire event "had a Trumpian look, but not an American look."

Accordingly, people perceived the president-elect's speech – some seriously, some with horror, and some with loud laughter.

"This is not a presidential speech. This is a speech at a rally, as I see it," the diplomat said.

Mr. Bezsmertnyi noticed that 5-6 dozen people in the hall of about 600 people "stood up and applauded" to some of Trump's theses, so the camera had to focus on the stage.

"I'm not talking about the fact that some of the theses caused laughter. And this laughter could be heard even in the microphone Trump was speaking into. Hillary Clinton was laughing so hard – and her voice is unrecognizable – that the laughter got into the microphone," the Ukrainian diplomat said.

Bezsmertnyi told us how and why First Lady Melania Trump "constantly beats up" her husband and why Donald Trump is "attracted to Slavic women."

As reported by OBOZ.UA, American billionaire Elon Musk found himself at the epicenter of a scandal after his gesture at Donald Trump's presidential parade was perceived as a Nazi salute. However, the Prime Minister of Israel defended Musk, saying that these accusations are lies, and noted that the billionaire has always been a great friend of Israel.

By the way, during his inaugural speech, Donald Trump said that the United States would conquer Mars. According to him, American astronauts will be sent to the Red Planet and the flag of the United States will soon fly there.
