Zelensky named the Heroes who died in the battles for Snake Island

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on the first anniversary of the liberation of Snake Island named the Heroes who died in the battles. The guarantor stated that this was a fundamental defense task: to ensure the safety of Snake Island, a significant part of the Black Sea water area.

"I am grateful to everyone who liberated Snake Island! Defence intelligence, along with other units of our nation's defense and security forces, conducted the operation. Thank you!," the head of state said.

He noted that Ukrainians will always remember the heroes who gave their lives for this Ukrainian victory.
