Windows shook, car alarms went off: powerful explosions in Sevastopol, the occupiers cynically called for "stay calm"

Explosions were heard in occupied Sevastopol

On the night of Tuesday, December 31, the occupied Crimea was restless again. Strong explosions were heard in Sevastopol, and the local so-called authorities announced a combined attack.

Thus, the "governor" of Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvozhayev, wrote about the alleged destruction of several aircraft-type UAVs and marine drones by Russian air defense. He called on local residents to "stay calm and stay in safe places."

"The loud sounds that were just heard in the city are our military repelling an attempted attack by surface drones. All services are on high alert," Razvozhayev wrote at night.

In the morning, the governor of Sevastopol said that Russian air defense "successfully repelled the night attack of the Ukranians."

"According to preliminary information, 4 air targets over the sea and 2 UAVs near the shore were shot down," Razvozhayev wrote, without mentioning that, according to the DIU, maritime drones destroyed one military helicopter for the first time in history and damaged another.

Instead, he once again began to convince Sevastopol residents "not to film or post the work of air defense," and not to launch fireworks: they, he said, interfere with the occupiers by "creating false targets." Thus, Russians in Crimea equate fireworks with "working for the enemy."

Meanwhile, the Crimean Wind Telegram channel reported that Russian air defense was operating in the Kachi area. Also, a Russian Pantsir-S1 multiple rocket launcher was fired from somewhere near Kamyshovoye Highway in Sevastopol.

"The most powerful explosion was at 00:45, the blast wave shook windows and triggered car alarms," the subscribers report. There were also explosions in the area of Kozacha Bay," the message says.

There was information that a Russian Tor air defense system could have been destroyed in the area of Kozacha Bay.

As reported by OBOZ.UA, the Ukrainian Navy said that the occupiers' naval logistics to supply the Russian military group in Ukrainian Crimea have been virtually destroyed. Even the eastern coast of the Azov Sea and the Krasnodar Territory of the Russian Federation are no longer in the security zone for the Russians.
