"We must work together to deprive Russia of the opportunity to break our lives." Zelensky reveals Putin's plan at the summit in Albania

Zelensky recalled the threat of the spread of Putin's aggression

If we do not stop Russian dictator Vladimir Putin now, he will expand his aggression. The Kremlin is trying to destroy not only Ukrainian independence, but also the international order in which every nation has the right to live freely and deserves respect.

This was warned by President Volodymyr Zelensky in his speech on February 28 in Albania at a joint press conference with Prime Minister Edi Rama following the Ukraine-Southeast Europe Summit. The video was posted on the YouTube channel of the President's Office.

According to Zelensky, everyone is under threat now. Ukraine is not the only target of the aggressor.

"Putin does not respect anyone and does not want to allow anyone to live freely. And this is the meaning of his war. And that is why, if he is not stopped now, he will expand his aggression. Ukraine emphasizes that all of us in Europe must be ready to defend our sovereignty, national dignity and way of life of our peoples," the President said.

Russia has a wide range of tools to destabilize the situation in many countries. Moscow can resort to direct aggression. However, it most often uses hybrid strikes - special political operations to provoke splits in societies through disinformation, economic pressure, the spread of corruption, and the use of energy resources as a political weapon.

"We must work together to deprive Russia of the opportunity to break our lives," Zelensky emphasized.

The Ukrainian president thanked Albania for its support and all the state leaders present at the summit for agreeing to participate in the Global Peace Summit scheduled for Switzerland.

The guarantor added that Kyiv had reached specific agreements on strengthening our country, in particular, the artillery, following the Ukraine-Southeast Europe summit.

To recap: On February 28, President Zelensky paid an unannounced visit to Albania. There, he took part in the Ukraine-Southeast Europe Summit in Tirana and held a series of bilateral meetings.

At the opening of the summit, the President emphasized that the path of Europe for at least several generations is being determined now. All countries should show their dignity and not stay away from the events in Ukraine.

As OBOZ.UA previously reported, at a press conference in Tirana, the capital of Albania, Volodymyr Zelensky reacted to the discussion by European leaders, initiated by French President Emmanuel Macron, of the scenario of sending troops to our territory. Any initiatives that strengthen Ukraine are good for the whole world, the guarantor said.
